London based Local Space housing association has retained its current status of G1 (for governance) and V1 (for financial viability) following a successful in-depth assessment by the social housing regulator.
Local Space, a registered social housing provider now in its 12th year, has retained its G1 V1 status.
2018 continues to be a good year for Local Space confirming its G1 and V1 alongside the recent reaffirmation of its AA- S&P Global credit rating. This demonstrates how well Local Space is holding its own in a continuing challenging economic environment. The Regulator’s
assessment continues to be robust in its evaluation while Local Space has worked hard to raise its standards year on year.
Chief Executive, Jitinder Takhar, said
“Our Board and staff have worked hard to not just maintain standards but to raise the bar in a tough operating environment and will take on board what we need to do to continue to improve going forward”.
Chair, Richard Reynolds, said
“I am very proud of this achievement and look forward to continuing to lead the Board in enabling Local Space to provide excellent customer focused services that provide value for money to our tenants”.
