Anastasia Valuyskaya, Senior Insight Analyst has been shortlisted for Innovator of the Year at the Women in Housing Awards 2026, organised by Inside Housing.
The Innovator of the Year award celebrates individuals who are driving innovation in the housing sector. It recognises people who have introduced fresh ideas, whether through innovative use of technology, transformative approaches to improving tenant services, or novel ways of generating performance insights.
Anastasia has transformed how Local Space uses data, introducing real-time dashboards and automated reporting that have significantly reduced manual processes. Tasks that would have taken hours can now be completed in seconds, giving teams more time to focus on supporting residents and ensuring quick decision-making based on up-to-date information.
Her work has strengthened compliance with the Housing Ombudsman’s Complaint Handling Code and improved how the organisation monitors complaints and arrears. It has also enabled earlier support for households at risk of eviction and helped identify and address gaps in customer satisfaction.
These tools are now used across the organisation by operational teams, senior leaders and the Board. Anastasia is also contributing to sector-wide data improvement through collaboration with other housing providers and Housemark.
Claire Griffiths‑Naylor, Head of Service Improvement and Customer Voice, says:
“Anastasia consistently goes above and beyond to improve customer experience. Her work has enabled us to understand our customers needs and deliver better services for them. Her proactive and solutions‑focused approach is making a real difference for both colleagues and customers.”
The awards ceremony will take place on 22 June 2026, as part of Housing 2026, where the winners will be announced.
