Our residents’ stories are at the heart of this campaign. Every story is different, but they all begin with the same foundation: a place to call home.
At Local Space, we provide high-quality settled homes for as long as its needed for our residents. We know that safe and secure housing provides a foundation for a happy and healthy life and we play a part in ensuring that there is one less family in unsuitable, unstable temporary accommodation.
Meet our residents
Meet Hasan
Hasan moved to London in 2016 to study and work as a social worker, supporting young people and helping others through challenging periods of their lives. But everything changed when he had to move into temporary accommodation.
Finding a settled home with Local Space was life changing for Hasan. It became the foundation for his recovery.

Meet Irina
Irina spent years supporting Newham’s local community in London. She is a sign language interpreter, helping deaf residents access services and take part in everyday life.
But in 2023, Irina’s own housing situation changed unexpectedly and she found herself without a stable place to live.
