As the summer sunshine rolls in, we’re delighted to invite residents and their families to our Family Fun Day 2026 – a fantastic community event packed with entertainment, activities and opportunities to make memories together.
This year’s event is extra special as we’ll be celebrating Local Space’s 20th anniversary, marking two decades of supporting residents and building stronger communities. We look forward to celebrating this important milestone with you and your family.

Whether you’re bringing your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews or other young family members, everyone is welcome to join us for what promises to be a fun-filled day for all ages.
What do we have planned?
Our hosts, the fantastic Dancing Mascot Parties, will keep the energy going all day with:

- Family-friendly DJ with party tunes.
- Special appearances from dancing mascots Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
- Games, competitions and prizes.
- Large crowd-surfing balloon.
- Bouncy castle.
- A creative and fun craft station.
- Face painting.
- Kerplunk.
- Henna beauty experience – free for all ages.
- Satin ribbon making.
- And plenty of 20th anniversary themed surprises throughout the day.
Meet your local teams
Alongside all the fun and entertainment, you’ll have the opportunity to meet representatives from Local Space and the London Borough of Newham. Team members will be available throughout the event to share information about local services, community initiatives and support available in the area.
