As Director of Assets and New Business, Kam is responsible for strategic asset management including acquisitions and disposals, repairs, health and safety, compliance and sustainability. His team also handles repairs-related complaints and resolutions and manages safety risks and housing component data.

Kam has 21 years’ experience across transport, commercial property, property development, large-scale project delivery and housing in both the private and public sectors. Kam retrained to become a surveyor and is now a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Kam progressed into social housing, which he describes as the most rewarding part of his career to date. Prior to joining Local Space, Kam held senior roles and delivered major programmes at Transport for London, Homes England and Westminster City Council.
